About this tool

This tool validates and checks plausibility of species occurrence records from the NBN Atlas using the BRC Record Cleaner API. This is the Record Cleaner online form if you want to submit your own datasets: https://www.brc.ac.uk/record_cleaner

What it does:

Validation: Checks record format, dates, spatial references, and taxon names
Rules based checking: Tests records against biological rules (distribution, phenology, period)
Export: Generates a CSV with original data plus validation/rules check results

Note: This is a demo and as such, we limit the numbers of records sent to the BRC Record Cleaner Service to 100.

Currently limited to 100 records for demo purposes
Only records that pass validation will be rules checked
